Good Morning and welcome to Rivergate Community Church. We are glad to have you join us as we gather to worship the Lord.
Did you feel it? Did you notice anything? Early Saturday morning we changed seasons. We went summer to fall. The news people were joking about how our life would change dramatically with the change. Most of us probably weren't even aware that the “official change” had happened. In fact, our weather on Saturday, which was the first day of fall, was better than the Friday, the last day of summer.
We don't always notice or feel all the changes in our lives. It is the same in our spiritual lives. We can be reading our Bibles, going to church and praying on a regular basis, but we may not notice any big changes. The good news is that we are different and changes are happening in our spiritual lives as we grow in our relationship with the Lord. So, this morning if you don't feel your faith has grown this last week, just wait and there will come a moment when you do see and feel the difference. It may not always be obvious, but as we journey with the Lord and seek to follow His leading, we are changing... just like the seasons.
